Repair or Replace? An Honest Answer.
A well-built septic system lasts roughly 25–40 years, but tanks, pumps and controls wear out sooner. When we assess a struggling system we look at its age, the soil it’s in, and whether the failure is a replaceable component or the field itself. We regularly second-opinion “replace the whole thing” quotes and find a repair that buys years. When replacement really is the answer, we’ll tell you that too — with the evidence in hand.
